Theatre was almost full by the time bf booked them online. We managed to get seats 3rd row from the front, thankfully. Throughout the movie, there were lots of Woo~ and Ahs~ coming from the ladies all around us, especially when the big-ass closet that Carrie's fiance built for her was revealed. Many fancy costumes were worn in the movie, I guess that's what some people came for.
I haven't watched the TV series so can anyone tell me if the actresses are really as old as they are in the movie? Women in their 40s (& 50s) with such incredibly high sex drives? Mum's 50++ too.. hmm. Teehee. Anyway, I guess lots of sex scenes got cut off. What a turn-off. I mean, the scene suddenly gets cut off when they've just started bonging each other. Where got people have sex and stop halfway one. Can't wait to catch the uncut version online!
Movie aside, bf & I are going to have a mini pre-birthday celebration for him tomorrow evening. Keeping fingers crossed that everything's going to turn out great!
Caught Fool's Gold with the bf last night. Story mainly revolved bout booty-hunting, a divorce somehwere, lots of dialogue, a mega yacht (sort of), a bimbo (not kate hudson btw), and so on. Might have been more interesting, if not for all the lengthy dialogues. Plus Finn looked like he needed a haircut/shave. Probably it's only getting an average rating, somewhere out there now.
Dinner at a korean restaurant along Liang Seah Street. I'm still so in love with the long spoons and flat metal chopsticks. Ordered a seafood steamboat, and after much struggling, it boiled down (unintended pun) to a thick gravy-like base when we were just about to leave. Rather big portion for 2; overwhelming first experience huh.
Dessert-shop hopped and we compared the black sesame paste + tang yuan in the 2 shops.
Food, we love food.
& guess what, first paper's over! Time sure flies past during the examination period hur, can't disagree, especially when you're so out of time. I was literally panting when I finally finished scribbling my last word yesterday. Don't think I'm going to do so well since I was unable to finish up everything on time, but TGIO-thank god its over!
Vid on Brazilian Waxing: sure looks like it's going to hurt a hell lot. ha.
